We had an impressive range of tools!

We battled a lot of rain in the spring, so Chant rented
the roto tiller a few times!

We had lots of little helpers in the neighborhood!

At the point where all the underground pipes meet, we put
in a rock bed for the water to flow through.

We created a limestone bridge across the rock bed
so we don't disturb the area when we cross yards.
You can see on the left, where the underground pipe ends
we built some limestone around it to make it look more
attractive. The other pipe is hidden behind the peonies.

Why do all the work when we can train our puppy to set up the bricks?

We decided to build a retaining wall with a walk path against
the back of the rain garden, leaving the other sides at a
gentle slope with bricks lining the edge. The sand
in the background was put down and leveled before the
pavers for the 15" walk path were placed.
